NEILLSVILLE YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL AND SOCCER START SEPT. 10TH

The Neillsville Recreation Department will once again be offering a Youth Flag Football league for boys and girls in 2nd-7th grades. Play will be held on Saturday mornings at the Neillsville practice football field. Members of the Neillsville High School football team will serve as coaches. Games will begin on September 10th. Registration forms are available at the Rec. Dept. or at the Middle School offices. Fee is $8 per player (or $10 for non-residents of the Neillsville School District). Pre-registration is necessary and must be completed by Tuesday, September 6th. If you cannot make it to the Rec. Dept. in person, please call the Rec. Dept to verbally register your child. No previous football experience is necessary. For more information phone 743-2400.The Neillsville Recreation Department will also conduct a youth soccer program on Saturday mornings beginning Saturday, September 10th. The program will run approximately 4-6 weeks. Boys and girls in kindergarten-6th grades will meet from 9:00-10:30, at the practice football field. Fee is $6. If you would like to participate, you must pick up a registration form from the Middle School office and bring it with you to the first practice. (Forms will be available at the field, if you have not picked one up). No previous experience is necessary. If you can't make the first practice, you may start the program whenever it is convenient.
