BRF Co-op Girls Top Wisconsin Valley Union

The Black River Falls Co-op girls hockey team downed Wisconsin Valley Union/Marshfield Co-op on Tuesday night 3-1.
The Tigers got on the board first on a goal from Zowie Hunter 5:30 into the 1st period.
Lexie Hagen would give Black River Falls Co-op a 2-0 lead at the 14:35 mark of the 1st period.
Late in the 2nd period, Gwynn Beversdorf scored a goal to get Wisconsin Valley Union to within one. Zowie Hunter would then score her second goal, an empty netter, late in the game to secure the win for the Tigers.
The Tigers, Sydney Magnuson recorded 30 saves and Black River Falls Co-op improved to 2-5 on the season.
