LINDNER MAKES WBCA ALL-STATE TEAM

Jenny Lindner of Neillsville is the only freshman to receive First Team All-State recognition in any division from the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association. The 5-10 guard was a 1st team selection in Division 3 as she led the team in scoring at 15.8 points per game as the Warriors advanced to the Division 3 sectional semi-final. Neillsville also won the Eastern Cloverbelt title for a 6th straight year, the Cloverbelt Conference Championship and Regional Title. Kayla Springer, Sr., from Altoona received Honorable Mention in Division 3. Other area athletes on the WBCA All State Teams include:WBCA Girls D1 All-State Team
Taylor Varsho, Jr., Marshfield - Varsho led the entire Division 1 field in individual scoring by scoring 21 points per contest as the Tigers won their third consecutive undefeated Wisconsin Valley Conference title.

Taylor Thomas, Sr., Newman Catholic - Thomas is arguably the Division 5 girls basketball player with the highest stock, with a DI college scholarship offer to Green Bay awaiting the senior next season.
