NEILLSVILLE GIRLS IMPROVE TO 8-0

Neillsville improved to 8-0 overall and 5-0 in the Eastern Cloverbelt with a 61-17 win over Augusta on Thursday night. The Warriors jumped out to a 19-4 first quarter lead and never looked back. Jenny Lindner led the way for Neillsville with 20 points, Sami Pfieffer chipped in with 12 points. 10 different players scored for Neillsville. Junior guard Allie Nelson of Augusta came into the game averaging 20.7 points per game but was held to just 8 points in the loss. Neillsville will be back in action on Tuesday night when they host Marshfield Columbus.
