The Ice Racing season kicked off to a great start this past weekend.
The CWIRA was on Lake Petenwell in Nekoosa at The Lure Bar. Saturday they held a non-point race and on Sunday, they had their first point of the season. Results. Partial results from Sunday’s race are below, complete results can be found here
The CWIRA will continue their season this Sunday, the 17th again on Lake Petenwell near Romanos Pizzeria. Visit cwira.com for more information and updates.
The NWIRC began their season on Humbird’s Emerson Lake this past Saturday. Partial results from the weekend are below, complete results can be found here.
The NWIRC’s second race of the year was scheduled for Lake Wissota, but concerns over ice safety have caused a venue change - this week’s NWIRC race will take place back on Emerson Lake in Humbird this Saturday.
