FASTPITCH SOFTBALL TOURNEY HELD IN NEILLSVILLE

The Neillsville Booster Club held their 19th annual Fastpitch Softball Tournament this past Saturday in Neillsville. Placing first in the 16 and under division was Rochester, MN with Westby second and Marshfield taking home third. In the 14 and under division, Westby took home the championship with Neillsville White garnering silver. Members of the second place squad included: Meghann Naughton, Erin Diestler, Taylor Henchen, Maddie Hanson, Sydney Miller, Allie Pfieffer, Avriel Voigt, Mollie Stetzer, Katarina Nemitz, Holly Erpenbach and Dakota Brorson. The Neillsville Red team took 3rd while Marshfield placed 4th. In the 12 and under division, Spencer finished 3-0 to win the championship with Neillsville grabbing silver medals, Junction City third and Westby fourth. Members of the home team included: Jazmine Glassbrenner, Alexis Averill, Corrtney Schmidt, Jordan Voigt, Jenna Pavlac, Morgan Hauge, Krista Krultz, Ashlee Diestler, Mindy Schoengarth, Malory Zickert, Shyann Millard, Dani Pfieffer, Megan Crothers, Brittanee Roehl, Alex Bixby and Alyssa Katcher. In the 10 and under division, the team from Westby took first with Black River Falls second and Neillsville third. Members of the young local team included: Katie Hartung, Molly Klein, Brianna Roehl, Baileigh Johnson, Kaelyn Krultz, Erin and Emily Voigt, Olivia Hanson, Hannah Erickson and Morgan Bethea. The Booster Club would like to thank the many volunteers who helped make the tourney a huge success.
