NEILLSVILLE ALONE ATOP EASTERN CLOVERBELT SOFTBALL

The Neillsville Warrior girls softball team is now alone atop the Eastern Cloverbelt after a 15-2 win over Loyal last night. Neillsville (7-1, 5-0) banged out 17 hits in the 5 inning win, led by Courtney Pickett who as 3 for 4 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI's and 3 runs scored. Cassandra Craig got the win giving up 6 hits, striking out 7 and walking one. Loyal (5-2, 4-1) was led by Britney Weyhmiller who was 2 for 3 with an RBI. Sarah Weyer took the loss for the Greyhounds.
