WIAA GIRLS GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS AT UNIVERSITY RIDGE BEGIN MONDAY

The 38th Annual Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association Girls State Golf Championships will be held Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 12-13, at the University Ridge Golf Course in Madison. In Division 1, senior Cassandra Marshall of Marshfield will compete as an individual qualifier. Also competing as individuals from the Clover-Valley Golf League in Division 2 are junior Addie Vold of Osseo-Fairchild, sophomore Katie Pokrondt of Regis. The schools qualifying for the State meet in Division 1 are Arrowhead, Divine Savior Holy Angels, Eau Claire Memorial, Janesville Parker, Kettle Moraine, Middleton, Neenah, Notre Dame, Onalaska, Oregon, Pius XI and Sheboygan North/South. Challenging for the Division 2 team championship are Baldwin-Woodville, Denmark, Edgerton, Edgewood, Hayward and Xavier. In the 37 years of the girls championships, Edgewood has won the most team championships with eight, all coming consecutively the last eight years.Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
