Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009 -- 12:00 PM
For the second time in about four months, the University of Wisconsin has obtained an oral commitment from a recruit who had a change of heart about his college choice.Warren Herring, a 6-foot-4, 248-pound defensive end/tight end from Belleville (Ill.) East High School who originally committed to Kansas State, recently committed to Wisconsin. Herring, who is projected to play defensive end in college, is the ninth known commitment for UW's 2010 freshman class. One of those players is Schofield D.C. Everest linebacker Konrad Zagzebski, who originally committed to Minnesota but changed his mind in the spring and committed to UW.
