Cross Country Sectional Results

Cross Country Sectionals - Saturday - The first two teams and the first five individuals who are not members of a qualifying team advance to the State Cross Country Meet Saturday, October 31, at The Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids

Division 3

The Auburndale and Stanley-Boyd girls teams finished 1st and 2nd at the Colby Sectional and will advance to State.  Taylor Laufenberg of Melrose-Mindoro was the individual Sectional Champion and will advance to State as will Phoenix Losievski of Pittsville.  On the boys side, Marathon and Stratford both advance to State as teams while Ben Hartwig of Athens,  Zale Pettis of Augusta, and Hunter Ogle and John Smit of Stanley-Boyd advance as individuals.  Zeb Schultz of Neillsville/Granton finished 15th.

The Cadott and Mondovi boys teams advance to State from the Unity Sectional.  For the girls, Ellie Doubler of Regis advances to State as an individual.

The Assumption boys won the team title at the Pardeeville Sectional to advance to State

Division 1

The Bloomer Girls took first at the Menomonie Sectional and will advance to State.

The Stevens Point and Marshfield boys and girls teams finished 1st and 2nd at the Stevens Point Sectional and both advance to the State Cross Country Meet next Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids.  Anna Colwell of Wausau West was the girls individual Sectional Champion while Will VanSlyke of D.C. Everest was the boys Sectional Champion.
