Neillsville Girls To Play For D4 State Championship/Other Thursday Scores

The Neillsville girls basketball team will play for the Division 4 State Championship on Saturday after a 58-31 win over Lomira in a D4 Semi-Final on Thursday night at the Resch Center in Green Bay.  The Warriors (28-1) dominated the Lions in the paint, outscoring them 32-4 and outrebounding them 40-25.  Tessa Warren led the Warriors with 20 points and 10 rebounds.  Madi Davel added 14 points while Laylah Walk tied a Division 4 State Record for assists in a game with 11.   Neillsville will now play Albany/Monticello, who beat St. Mary Catholic 45-31, in the Division 4 State Championship on Saturday at around 12:45 pm.  You can hear the action on 92.7 FM WPKG.
