Neillsville Girls Basketball Team To Make 7th Trip To State

The Neillsville girls basketball team will be making their 7th trip to the WIAA Girls State Basketball Tournament after a 42-30 win over Cameron on Saturday in a Division 4 Sectional Final at Altoona.  The Warriors (27-1), who have now won 19 games in row, were led by Madi Davel who scored 17 pts.  Neillsville will be joined by Albany/Monticello, Lomira and St. Mary Catholic in the Division 4 field at the Resch Center in Green Bay.

Mosinee in Division 3 and Pacelli in Division 5 will also be making the trip to Green Bay...

Here are the State Qualifiers for girls basketball in all 5 Divisions...

Division 1 - Arrowhead, Notre Dame, Pewaukee and Wauwatosa East

Division 2 - Beaver Dam, Elkhorn, Rice Lake and Whitefish Bay

Division 3 - Kettle Moraine Lutheran, Mosinee, Oostburg and Wisconsin Dells

Division 4 - Albany/Monticello, Neillsville, Lomira and St Mary Catholic

Division 5 - Barneveld, Eleva-Strum, Fall River and Pacelli

The WIAA will conduct state tournament seeding via computer formula which will be announced today (Sunday).
