Hoeser Scores Career High 31 In Warrior Win/Other Area Scores From Tuesday

Senior Andrew Hoeser scored a career high 31 points including seven 3-pointers as the Neillsville Warriors outlasted the Owen-Withee Blackhawks in double-overtime 86-82 on Tuesday. Hoeser's points all came in regulation. Owen-Withee's Winston Poehler sent the game into the first overtime when he drained a 3-pointer at the buzzer. He finished with 28 points to lead the Hawks. Neillsville's Landon Rakestraw converted on 11 of 13 freethrows in the second half and overtimes and he finished with 26 points. Neillsville and Owen-Withee are tied at 6-3 in the ECC. They meet again on Feb. 23rd at Neillsville.
