B.A.S.S. Nation Championship Underway In La Crosse

The nation’s best grass-roots anglers are competing thru Saturday in the 2025 Mercury B.A.S.S. Nation Championship presented by Lowrance on the famed Upper Mississippi River in La Crosse.  Anglers from across the country — and around the world — are battling for the coveted title of B.A.S.S. Nation Champion, three berths into the 2026 Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Classic presented by Under Armour, and invitations to join the 2026 Progressive Bassmaster Elite Series roster.

The B.A.S.S. Nation Championship is the pinnacle of amateur bass fishing, representing a path for grass-roots competitors to advance to the highest levels of professional angling. The event brings together anglers from each state’s B.A.S.S. Nation, as well as international competitors, all vying for the opportunity to etch their names into B.A.S.S. history.
