Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series Makes Stop In Marshfield

The Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series travelled to Marshfield Motor Speedway this past Saturday night for a pair of feature races on the fast half mile oval.

Fourteen drivers from three states on hand,and first up was the makeup feature for Jim Langreck Memorial race that was rained out in August. Jason Stark of Tomah took the checkered flag with Sean Herzog taking second and Jim Ronspiez taking third.

Next up was the Fall Shootout Special race which saw Herzog taking the win there, with Ralph Cottone, filling in for injured Ken Hutchens, finishing a close second,and Tim Lind of Waupun finishing third.

Next on the schedule for the Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series is LaCrosse Speedway's annual Oktoberfest races this weekend for the season finale.
