The Neillsville volleyball team was at the Sparta Invitational on Saturday where they finished 1-4.  They beat Black River Falls 2-0, then lost to Melrose-Mindoro 1-2, Fall Creek 0-2, Blackwood 0-2 and Cashton 0-2.

The Marshfield volleyball team competed in the 24-team Kettle Moraine Tournament on Saturday.  Marshfield took 2nd place in their pool defeating Madison West and Onalaska, but lost their final match in pool play to Wauwatosa East.  The Tigers then ended up being placed in the Silver division and lost to Barneveld to end their tournament.  

At McDonell Central - McDonell Central finished 5-0,  Loyal 1-4,  Osseo-Fairchild 0-5

Columbus Catholic won the Auburndale invitational Saturday.  Pool play: Lost to Stratford 1-2, Won against Assumption 2-0 and Won against Iola-Scandavia  2-0;  Tournament bracket: Won against Auburndale in sem-finals 2-0, won in championship against Stratford 2-0

In Cross Country at the Stevens Point Invite:  Appleton North won the girls team title, Marshfield was second and Auburndale took 11th.  Stevens Point won the boys title,  Marshfield tied for third and Auburndale was 13th.  Individually, Cooper Erickson was first for the boys while Eva Busch of Appleton North took first for girls.
