LaCrosse 6, Mankato 5

Last night's loss by Mankato gives the Minot Honeybees the second and final playoff spot. The league championship series between Madison and Minot will start on Monday.

Wisconsin American Legion Softball State Tournament

The Wisconsin American Legion State Softball Tournament will get underway today in Merrill. Several area teams are participating in Division 2.

Division 2 Games on Friday

10:00AM - Wittenberg-Birnamwood will face Augusta 

12:00PM - Fall Creek will battle Marathon

12:00PM - Boyceville will take on Viroqua

2:00PM - Fennimore will face Arcadia

Winners of these four games will play at either 4 or 6 pm

Losers of these four games will face off Saturday morning at 8 and 10 am.

The double elimination format tournament continues through Sunday.
