Results from Neillsville's Community Boxing Club's event at the Ho-Chunk Nation District 1 Community Center.

Neillsville’s Community Boxing Club hosted a successful event at the Ho-Chunk Nation District 1 Community Center last night. There were a total of 17 matches featuring 34 amateur boxers from 10 different boxing clubs. The night included The Ho-Chunk Hammer award for best bout, and best boxer presented to the night’s most exciting bout, and the nights best individual performance. The awards are named in honor of Ho-Chunk legend and retired pro-boxer Harry “The Ho-Chunk Hammer” Funmaker.

Angel Otega of Chuters defeated Julius Pickford-Connors of La Familia by split decision.

Kyle Marsa of Medina defeated Jeff Zuniga of St. Cloud by unanimous decision.

Vaughn Millard unattached defeated Calors Kentz Hegnar of Chuters by split decision.

Maricella Vargas of Community Boxing Club defeated Khloe Flores Lara of La Familia in the 2nd round by referee stoppage.

Zeke Moen of Medina defeated Pheonix Kasperek of Chuters by unanimous decision.

Nathan Carter of Golden Tiger defeated William Wildcat of Lac Du Clambeau Indians Boxing Team by unanimous decision.

Chaseyen Funmaker of Community Boxing Club won his debut match against Charlie Guerrero of Chuters by split decision.

Elio Ortiz of La Familia defeated Yasir Palam of Chuters by unanimous decision.

Clinton Campbell of Medina defeated Sebastin Sebastian of St. Cloud by unanimous decision.

Arina Lara of La Familia defeated John Stenerson of Wisconsin Rapids Boxing Club by split decision.

Augusto Garcia of Golden Tiger defeated Christian Torres of Medina by unanimous decision.

Nick Wyckoff of Conflict Boxing defeated Ethan Anhalt of Community Boxing Club by split decision.

The Ho-Chunk Hammer Bout of The Night award was presented to Arian Lara of La Familia and John Stenerson of Wisconsin Rapids Boxing Club.

The Ho-Chunk Hammer Boxer of the Night award was presented to Chaseyn Funmaker of Community Boxing Club.
