Buchanan Takes Down Ferrari, Advances to Finals

#2 ranked Stephen Buchanan downs #3 ranked AJ Ferrari in the D.1 NCAA Championship semi-finals.

Buchanan won the match with a score of 3 - 0, earning all 3 points in the 3rd period. Ferrari was called for a locked hands penalty awarding Buchanan 1 point, Buchanan received 1 point for an escape and his 3rd point for riding time.

Buchanan moves on to the finals where he will face Penn State's Josh Barr. 

#4 ranked Barr earned his way to the finals by defeating #1 ranked Jacob Cardenas of Michigan in the semi-finals with a 5-3 decision.

Buchanan and Barr have faced off already this season with Buchanan winning the match 5 - 1.

The final match-ups are scheduled to begin in session 6 today (3/22). Session 6 is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm.
