Buchanan Advances to NCAA D1 Championship Semi-finals

NGL wrestling alumni Stephen Buchanan advances to the NCAA D1 Championship semi-finals after defeating #23 Seth Shumate of Ohio State.

#2 Stephen Buchanan, wrestling for Iowa, defeated Shumate by tech fall within the third period, 3 to 18.

Buchanan with face #3 AJ Ferrari (CSU Bakerfield) tonight (Friday 3/21) in the semi-finals.

Buchanan earned All-American honors with his win over Shumate becoming a 4 time All-American and the first wrestler in D1 history to earn All-American honors at 3 different D1 institutions (Wyoming, Oklahoma, and Iowa)
