Pewaukee senior Amy Terrian has been named the 2025 Ms. Basketball recipient by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), presented by Wisconsin Clothing Company. The award goes to the top senior girls basketball player in the state of Wisconsin.
Terrian will be one of the few players ever selected First Team All-State by the WBCA all four years of high school, earning the designation in Division 2 the last three seasons before the Pirates were elevated to D1 this year.
During her four years on varsity, Pewaukee had a record of 108-10 with four conference championships, four regional championships, three sectional championships, a pair of state runner-up finishes and the 2024 WIAA Division 2 state title, the first in program history.
Terrian burst onto the scene along with twin sister Anna as freshmen, helping the team to the state tournament while averaging 16.8 points per game. She'd go on to average 14.6, 18.4 and 14.4 points per game over the remainder of her career.
Terrian holds school records for points, three-pointers, assists, rebounds, and steals.
The finalists for Ms. Basketball were Terrian, JJ Barnes of The Prairie School, Makena Christian of Hartford, Kristina Ouimette of Lakeland, and Rainey Welson of Hortonville.
