Buchanan's Win Seals Iowa Triumph Over Oklahoma St.

The Iowa wrestling team, ranked No. 3 in the nation, defeated second-ranked Oklahoma State 21-16 on Sunday at Carver-Hawkeye Arena in Iowa City. The Hawkeyes won six of 10 bouts. 

Iowa's No. 1 at 197 pounds, Stephen Buchanan of Loyal, won a major decision over Oklahoma State's No. 6 Luke Surber 10-1. Buchanan’s win clinched the dual for Iowa.  

This was the final dual of the season for Iowa.  The Hawkeyes now set their sights on the March 8-9 Big Ten Championships in Evanston, Ill.
