Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series Makes Stop At Marshfield Motor Speedway

The Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series made their fourth and final visit of the year to Marshfield Motor Speedway this past Saturday to take part in their annual Fall Shootout Classic.

Over 110 entries from several divisions from all over the midwest converged on the fast half mile track. In the Upper Midwest Vintage Series, sponsored by RKI Trucking of Loyal,heat race winners were Jim Ronspiez of Wisconsin Dells and Sean Herzog of Wausau. The hotly contested feature saw Herzog taking the win over Tracy Prissel of Tomah, Ronspiez was third, Ken Hutchens of Black River Falls finished fourth with Todd Lindner of Loyal rounding out the top five.

Next and final stop on the Upper Midwest schedule is this Sunday at LaCrosse Speedway for their annual Oktoberfest races.
