Girls Golf

The Marshfield Tiger Girls Golf Team finished 1st in their sixth Wisconsin Valley Conference leg at the Northern Bay Golf Course in Arkdale.  They finished with a team score of 185. Wisconsin Rapids finished 2nd, Wausau East/West was third.    Brielle Lenz of Marshfield was the individual medalist with a 42.   The seventh and final leg of the Wisconsin Valley tournament will be held at Marshfield Country Club on Tuesday. Marshfield will clinch the conference championship with a fourth-place finish or better.

Boys Soccer

Amherst beat Columbus Catholic 1-0 in a Central Wisconsin Conference game Thursday at Amherst High School.   Just one minute after Amherst scored, the game was stopped due to a lightning and not resumed, and Amherst takes over first place in the CWC as a result.    Amherst is now 9-1 overall and 5-0 in the Central Wisconsin Conference, while Columbus Catholic drops to 8-2-1 and 4-1 in conference play.
