Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series Has Doubleheader Race Weekend

The Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series traveled to Madison International Speedway this past Friday for part 1 of their first ever double header race weekend. This was the annual Racers Reunion event at Madison Speedway. and the sixteen drivers in the series had double features on Friday night. Feature # 1 went to Tim Lind of Waupun, with feature # 2 going to Tom Gille of Winnebago, Illinois. Both features went flag to flag with no crashes.

The Upper Midwest Vintage Racing Series traveled to LaCrosse Speedway this past Saturday for the second part of their double header weekend. This was the Interstate Fair time special for the series and Toybox Rides of Black River Falls  was on board for this race. Winner of the first heat was Jeremy Wagner of Ettrick, and the second heat went to Brian Hasselberg of Bangor. The feature race saw many lead changes, with Jason Stark of Tomah taking the win over Wagner, Hasselberg third, then J.J. Meyer of Holmen fourth and Justin Jessop of Black River Falls rounding out the top five.

The Upper Midwest group is off for a couple weeks then travel to Tomah/Sparta Speedway on August 9th.
