Upper Midwest Vintage Series At Marshfield Motor Speedway

The Upper Midwest Vintage Series opened their 2024 season this past Saturday at the Marshfield Motor Speedway for the 8th annual Bev Aschenbrenner Memorial race presented by Stratford Sign Company.

Fourteen drivers from 4 states were on hand at the half mile track, with Justin Jessop of Black River Falls taking the first heat, and Todd Lindner of Loyal taking the second heat. The hard fought feature went to Jim Kulseth of Rosemount, Minnesota, followed by Jessop, Sean Herzog of Wausau third, Jared Lindner of Greenwood fourth and Roger Peterson of Plover rounding out the top five.  Next stop on the schedule is Sunday at the Milwaukee Mile in support of the ASA Stars National Tour.

Also on Saturday night at Marshfield Motor Speedway, Justin Mondeik won the 75-lap Bev Aschenbrenner Memorial TUNDRA feature event.  Mike Heidmann took the checkered flag in the the X-Treme 4’s, Karl Genett in the Legends Feature and Mike Meharg won the Bandits Feature
