Waterloo 7, La Crosse 6

The Waterloo Bucks returned after last night’s loss and beat the La Crosse Loggers in tonight’s matchup 7-6.  Larry Edwards (Oklahoma College-Tonkawa) had a day at the plate going 2-for-3 with an RBI single in the fifth and a three-run home run in the sixth. Brennan Hudson (Georgia State University) went 1-for-4 with a solo home run, his third of the season. Jack Collins (California State University Long Beach) went 3-for-4 including a pair of doubles collecting three RBI, and scoring once. Isaiah Byrkeland (Iowa Central Community College) earned his first win of the season throwing 1.1 innings with three strikeouts allowing two hits, two walks, and two runs.

 

Thunder Bay 2, Eau Claire 1

The Thunder Bay Border Cats pull through and take down the Eau Claire Express 2-1. Kenneth Sugi (Missouri University of Science & Technology) went 1-for-3 with a two-run single in the fourth and recorded a stolen base. Cole Ketzner (University of South Alabama) went 2-for-4 including a double in the fourth. Justin Sedin (University of Wisconsin – Stout) went 1-for-3 scoring the only run for the Express. Andrew Hardin (Southwestern University (TX)) earned his second win of the season throwing 7.2 innings with six strikeouts allowing five hits, zero walks, and zero earned runs.



Wausau 3, Fond du Lac 1

The Wausau Woodchucks cannot be stopped with their eighth win today over the Fond du Lac Dock Spider, beating them 3-1. Jacob Haley (University of South Alabama) went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in the sixth. Deiten Lachance (McClennan Community) went 1-for-4 including a double and scoring once. Max Galvin (Oklahoma State University) went 2-for-4 with one stolen base. Parker Knoll (Lawrence University) went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Tyler Smith (University of South Alabama) earned the win throwing six innings with five strikeouts allowing five hits, two walks, and one run.
