JJ Watt Considering Coming Out Of Retirement
Thursday, May 30th, 2024 -- 8:43 AM
Former Wisconsin Badger football standout JJ Watt might consider coming out of retirement to return to the NFL. Watt has played 12 seasons of pro football, retiring following the 2022 season, with 114.5 career sacks.
Watt now says he would consider a comeback if asked by his former teammate and current Houston coach DeMeco Ryans. Watt also says he would consider signing with Pittsburgh, so that he could play with his younger brother, Steelers' edge rusher TJ Watt.
JJ Watt will turn 35 this offseason--he did have 12.5 sacks for Arizona in 2022, and he is a three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
