Wembanyama Named NBA Rookie Of The Year

7’4” Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs was named the NBA's Rookie of the Year on Monday.  

Oklahoma City Thunder center Chet Holmgren came in second while Charlotte's Brandon Miller, came in third.  

Wembanyama  averaged 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists and a league-best 3.6 blocks per game for the Spurs.  He becomes the sixth unanimous Rookie of the Year in the last 40 years.  

Wembanyama is also one of three finalists for Defensive Player of the Year.
