Former Marshfield High School Wrestlers Are NCAA Champions

Two former Marshfield High School wrestlers are NCAA champions.
The NCAA Division III wrestling championships were held this weekend at LaCrosse, and both Bentley Schwanebeck-Osterman and Nolan Hertel won national titles.
Bentley, who wrestles for Augsburg of Minnesota, won the championship at 184. Bentley ends the season 33-1.
Meanwhile, Marshfield's Nolan Hertel won the Division III championship at 157 for the second straight year. Nolan finishes the season 28-0.
UW-Eau Claire’s Jared Stricker was victorious at 174 pounds. Stricker is the second NCAA champion in program history, joining Derek Sikora, who claimed the 165-pound title back in 2006.
Augusburg won the Division III team championship, with 95 points Wartburg of Iowa was second at 87.5, and LaCrosse was third at 82.5. UW-Eau Claire finished fifth in the final standings with 69 points.
