Hoeser's Career High 28 Leads Warrior Win/Other Regional Quarterfinal Results

Neillsville sophomore Andrew Hoeser had a career high 28 points, to go along with 15 rebounds, leading the Warriors to a 71-53 victory over Melrose-Mindoro in a Division 4 Regional Quarterfinal on Tuesday night in Neillsville.  Neillsville trailed by 12 early in the first half but then went on a 19-0 run to pull away to take a 39-32 halftime lead.  The Warriors outscored the Mustangs 32-21 in the second half for the win.  Bryce Erickson had 17 points for the Warriors and Cam Kennedy added 12.  Neillsville (14-11) will now play at Luther on Friday in a D4 Regional Semi-Final.  Game time is 7 pm and you can hear all the action on 92.7 FM WPKG.
