Tri-Star Basketball Competition To Be Held Friday, March 8th

The Neillsville Optimist Club will be conducting their annual Tri-Star Basketball Competition for boys and girls ages 6-13 on Friday, March 8th.
The event will take place right after school in the middle school gym, with an approximate 3:45 p.m. start time. Boys will compete against boys and girls against girls of their own age. There will be dribbling, passing and shooting events. There is no cost and participants will receive a plaque, medal or ribbon.
Winners of both the boys’ and girls’ 8-13 year old divisions will be given the opportunity to compete at the “state” competition in Fond du Lac in April, if they choose to attend.
No previous basketball experience necessary.
