Area High School Football Players Sign Letters Of Intent

Several area high school players signed letters of intent on Wednesday to play college football next season. 

Two players from Thorp High School signed their letters of intent yesterday.  Logan Hanson will be attending NAIA Div. II Dordt University in Sioux Center, Iowa.   Hanson is the all time leading rusher in Thorp history.  He received 1st Team all-state honors at running back in 2023.  Denzel Sutton will attend NCAA Div. II Minnesota State University Moorhead.  Denzel was the 2023 Conference Offensive Player of the Year.  He also received Honorable Mention All-State as a defensive back.  

Also on Wednesday, Elk Mound's Sam Wenzel and Fall Creek's Isaac Steinke signed to play football at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
