Daulton Varsho of Marshfield Nominated For Heart & Hustle Award

The Major League Baseball Players Alumni Association is nominating Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho of Marshfield for its Heart & Hustle award for this season. 

Each team has one nominee for this honor, and nominees are current major league players who demonstrate a passion for the game of baseball, and who best embody the game’s values, spirit and traditions.  Each major league team has one nominee, who is selected on the basis of passion, desire and work ethic, both on and off the field. 

As the season concludes, all major league baseball alumni and active players will vote to select the final winner among the 30 team nominees. 

Daulton is playing his first season with Toronto.
