The Marshfield Tigers earned the team win at the first leg of the Wisconsin Valley Conference Girls Golf Tournament on Wednesday at Trapp River Golf Course.  Wausau East/West was second followed by Wisconsin Rapids,  D.C. Everest, and Stevens Point.  Talia Schlindwein of Wausau East/West shot a sizzling 35 to win medalist honors.  Shylah Brogan of Marshfield tied for second individually with a 41.  All five Marshfield golfers shot 50 or better.  The second leg of the tournament will be Monday at Crane Meadows Golf Course in Wausau.
