North Sweeps All Three WFCA All-Star Games

At the Wisconsin Football Coaches Association 2023 All-Star Games, the North swept all three games in dominating fashion.  The North team went up early and dominated throughout in a 74-12 victory over the South squad in the WFCA 8-Player All-Star Game Friday night at Titan Stadium in Oshkosh.  Newman Catholic’s Conner Krach threw for 84 yards and two touchdowns, completing six-of-seven passes, adding five carries for 49 yards and a score on the ground as well. 

A big second quarter helped the North team pull away from the South in the Small School All-Star Game on Saturday, securing a 44-12 win.  Dawson Rud of Mondovi rushed for 55 yds and a touchdown for the North. 

The North team capped off a weekend sweep of the South with a 49-7 victory in the Large School All-Star Game on Saturday evening.     Leo Brostowitz of Wisconsin Rapids had a rushing touchdown for the North. 

The games serve as a fundraiser for the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
