Hoeser Strikes Out 12 In Neillsville Win/Other Regional Baseball Scores

Freshman, Andrew Hoeser held Augusta to 2 runs on 5 hits while striking out a career high 12 as the Neillsville baseball team downed Augusta 12-2 in six innings on Thursday in a Division 3 Regional Quarterfinal.  Neillsville collected 11 hits in the win led by Jace Pekol, Bryce Erickson, Reese McDonald and Hoeser who all had two hits.  Gunnar Barth had 4 RBI's including a 3 run triple.  Neillsville (14-5) now will play at Mondovi on Tuesday in a Regional Semi-Final.
