Neillsville Boys Golf Team Wins Regional/Other Regional Scores

The Neillsville boys golf team won the Mondovi Regional title on Tuesday, making it the second straight year they have won a Regional championship.

The Warriors shot a team score of 399, Cadott was second at 404 followed by Eleva-Strum 408 and Osseo-Fairchild 427.  The top 4 teams advance to the Cadott Sectional next week.  

Neillsville's Tucker Johnson was the individual Regional champion shooting an 80.  Jonah Czarnicki of Neillsville finished tied for 4th with a 92.  Carter Tieman of Thorp and Quinn Hatlestad of Owen-Withee advance as individuals to the Sectional at Cadott .

Individual medalist:  Andrew Bauer of McDonell Catholic/Regis - 71.  Isaac Brenner of Stanley-Boyd and Wyatt Madvig and Chris Muir of Black River Falls advance to Sectionals at Lake Wissota as individuals.

At Amherst

Columbus Catholic/Spencer finished 6th as a team but Charlie Moore finished 4th and advances to Sectionals at Wrightstown as an individual qualifier. 

Division 1

At Rhinelander

Marshfield finished 4th as a team and advances to Sectionals next week at RiverEdge in Marshfield.  Nathan Earnest and Hayden Ackerlund of Stevens Point advance as individuals.

At Onalaska

Wisconsin Rapids finished 3rd and will advance to Sectionals next week at Waunakee.
