On Wednesday, Neillsville high school golfer Isaac Berger signed his letter of intent to play adaptive golf at the University of Arizona.  Berger said he chose Arizona because of the adaptive golf team and because of the academics they offer including the business program that Issac wanted.

Issac, who was born without a left hand, has been participating in adaptive golf tournaments around the country and as far as collegiate adaptive golf goes, they have different divisions for men and women but they also have different divisions for the type of disability that you have.

Moving forward with the help of his collegiate golf coaches at Arizona, Issac is looking to improve his game and becoming more comfortable on the course.

This partial athletic scholarship to play at Arizona means a lot to Issac who said that 10 years ago he never would have thought he would be playing adaptive golf in college, but the opportunity arose and he took it.

As far as the rest of the spring and summer goes, Issac plans to be out on the course everyday, just like last year.
