Neillsville Girls Fall To Colfax; Blair-Taylor And McDonell Advance To State

The Neillsville girls basketball team saw their season come to end on Saturday in a Sectional Final at Osseo-Fairchild, losing to Colfax 39-37.  The Warriors led at the half 25-18, but were unable to get their offense going in the second half and were outscored by the Vikings 21-12.  Neillsville was led by Paris Opelt with 15 points and Sydney Subke with 14.  The Warriors end their season 27-1.  Colfax meanwhile advances to State for the 4th time, their first since 2013.
