Neillsville Girls Improve To 12-0/Other Area Scores

The Neillsville girls basketball team improved to 12-0 overall and 8-0 in the ECC after beating Columbus Catholic on Tuesday night 56-30. The Warriors got out to a 9-0 lead and led 30-9 at the half. Amelia Trunkel scored a game-high 24 points, and Sydney Subke drilled five 3-pointers and chipped in 19 points for the Warriors. Hailey Zimmermann had three 3-pointers and scored 11 points to lead Columbus Catholic. The Dons fall to 7-8 overall and 4-3 in the Eastern Cloverbelt.
