Senior Alex Roman scored 14 of his game high 22 points in second half to lead Neillsville past Stanley-Boyd 59-56 in boys basketball on Thursday night in Stanley. The Orioles held the lead for the much of the game before the Warriors defense forced late turnovers that turned into points. Ashten Schultz made 4 late freethrows that proved to be the difference. The Warriors were 7 for 7 from the line in the second half. Henry Hoel led Stanley-Boyd with 17 points.
