2022 WIAA Girls State Volleyball Championships

Four girls volleyball teams were crowned champions at the 2022 State Volleyball Tournament Saturday at the Resch Center.
Second-seeded Divine Savior Holy Angels (43-6) upended former defending champion and top-seeded Oconomowoc (38-2) in the Division 1 championship game 3-2. The Dashers won their fourth State championship.
Top-seeded Xavier (39-7) hoisted the gold trophy following a 3-1 over second-seeded Sauk Prairie (47-4) in the Division 2 championship tilt. It was the first State championship for Xavier.
Howards Grove (37-4) became just the third program to win at least four State championships in succession and the first to do it in Division 3. The top-seeded Tigers swept second-seeded St. Croix Falls 3-0 in the tournament final. It was Howards Grove’s 6th overall title.
Top-seeded McDonell Central Catholic (41-12) shook off a first-set loss to defeat third-seeded Monticello 3-1 to win the Division 4 championship for the second year in a row.
