Bernhagen Competes In Midwest Championship Showdown At Dells Raceway Park

It was a long weekend of waiting out the rain for Jesse Bernhagen of Willard at Dells Raceway Park. 

Friday night in the first night of the Midwest Championship Showdown, he qualified 2nd and finished 2nd of 34 cars in the UMA Pro Late Models.  At the end of the night Mike Lichtfeld and Bernhagen were tied for the championship, the tie breaker was most wins, so Lichtfeld won the Pro Late Models championship.

In Saturday night's Midwest Championship Showdown,  Bernhagen was passing for the lead, made contact and spun.  

On Sunday Bernhagen WON the Big 8 race and finished 9th in the TUNDRA Super Late Model race.
