38th WBCA All Star Classic Results

The Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association’s 38th All-Star Classic was held this past Friday and Saturday in Oshkosh.  The top 72 high school seniors in the state competed on 4 different All-Star Teams. Camden Daul of Stratford, Noah Grimm of Pittsville, Cole Ladick of Wisconsin Rapids and Caden Thauer of Stevens Point were members of the West All-Stars Team while    Neillsville head coach Dave Matson was a member of the West All-Star team coaching staff.

On Friday the West All-Stars lost to the East 9-3.  Then on Saturday, the West beat the North 12-1 in their first game and lost to the South All-Stars 2-1 in their second game of the day.

The final records for the All-Star Classic were: EAST 3-0, SOUTH 2-1, WEST 1-2, NORTH 0-3. 

The Tom Nygaard Tournament MVP went to Dylan O’Connell (Eau Claire Memorial) and Will Johannes (Mukwonago).
