Neillsville's Nolan John Heading To State In Boys Golf/Other Sectional Results

Neillsville senior Nolan John is heading to the State Boys Golf Championships this coming Monday and Tuesday at Blackwolf Run in Kohler.  John shot an 84 at Lawsonia - The Links in Green Lake which was good enough to qualify as an individual for State in Division 3. 

The top 2 teams and top 3 individuals who are not on those teams advance to State.

Neillsville as a team finished 3rd at the Markesan Sectional.  Also golfing on the Neillsville squad were Tucker Johnson - 86,  Jonah Czarnecki - 99,  Eastan Swita - 102 and Andrew Brown - 104.

Division 3

Chetek-Weyerhauser Sectional - Osseo-Fairchild finished 5th, Cadott finished 7th.

Bonduel Sectional - Marathon won the Sectional and advances to State, Newman Catholic finished 4th and Assumption 5th.  Conner Krach of Newman Catholic did qualify as an individual, shooting an 81.  

Division 2

Antigo Sectional - McDonell/Regis finished 4th, Black River Falls finished 10th.  Ben Biskupski of McDonell/Regis qualified for State as an individual, shooting an 80. 

Marinette Sectional - Cole Norren of Columbus Catholic/Spencer finished tied for 6th with an 80 and Charlie Moore of Columbus Catholic/Spencer finished tied for 20th with an 86.  Neither qualified for State.

Division 1

Wausau West Sectional - Stevens Point finished 7th

Dominick Fetterer and Sawyer Wilkens of Wisconsin Rapids are competing at the Onalaska Sectional today
