Neillsville Boys Golf Team Wins C-F-C Regional/Other Regional Golf Results

The Neillsville boys golf team won the Cochrane-Fountain-City Regional on Tuesday, finishing 3 strokes ahead of host Cochrane-Fountain-City.  

Team Scores:  1 Neillsville 344,  2 Cochrane-Fountain City 347, 3 Luther 370,  4 Whitehall 380, 5 Alma/Pepin 461

Nolan John of Neillsville was the individual medalist shooting a 77.  Tucker Johnson of Neillsville finished 4th shooting an 83, Andrew Brown and Easton Swita tied for 8th both shooting 92’s and Jonah Czarnecki rounded out the Neillsville squad shooting a 102.  Neillsville will now compete in the Markesan Sectional next Tuesday.    

 

Also in Division 3:  

At the Cadott Regional, Cadott is the Regional Champ and Osseo-Fairchild finished 2nd - both teams advance to the Chetek-Weyerhauser Sectional next Tuesday.  Ian Vold of Osseo-Fairchild and Jacob Ackley of Cadott tied for the individual medalist, both shooting an 86.

At the Marathon Regional, Marathon is the Regional Champs.  Newman Catholic finished 2nd and Assumption 3rd.  Those 3 teams advance to the Bonduel Sectional next Tuesday.

 

Division 2

At the Black River Falls Regional, McDonell/Regis is the Regional Champ with Black River Falls finishing 2nd.  Both teams advance to the Antigo Sectional next Tuesday

At the Clintonville Regional, Columbus Catholic/Spencer finished 6th as a team but Charlie Moore and Cole Noreen both advanced as individual qualifiers to the Marinette Sectional next Tuesday

 

Division 1

At the Marshfield Regional, Stevens Point finished 4th advances to the Wausau West Sectional next Tuesday

At the Baraboo Regional, Wisconsin Rapids finished 5th as a team, but Dominick Fetterer and Sawyer Wilkens both qualified for Sectionals as individuals and they will compete in the Onalaska Sectional next Wednesday
