Columbus Catholic Wins First Ever Cloverbelt East Baseball Title

The Marshfield Columbus Catholic Dons are the Cloverbelt Conference East Division baseball champions for the first time ever after beating Greenwood on Thursday, 12-1.

Emmitt Konieczny allowed just three hits, and Cole Timmler went 2-for-4 with four RBI, Grant Olson was 3-for-3 with two RBI, and Blake Jakobi added two hits and three runs for Columbus Catholic.   

The Dons stay unbeaten on the season at 13-0 overall and 9-0 in the Cloverbelt East.  Columbus Catholic will wrap up its conference schedule with a home game against Spencer today.
