Lowry Breaks 2 Records In Final Indoor Meet

Neillsville senior Taytor Lowry continued his record setting indoor track & field season this past Friday at the Rosholt Badger Invite at UW-Stevens Point.
Lowry won the 1600m with a time of 4:38.04 which broke his own Neillsville indoor record by 7 seconds. Taytor also competed in the 3200m run where he finished 3rd with a time of 10:23.43 which established a new school record by over a minute! During the 2022 indoor track & field season, Lowry broke the Neillsville indoor records in the 200m, 400m, 800m, 1600m and 3200m. Now it's on to the outdoor meets.
Also on Friday at the Rosholt Badger Invite for Neillsville, the boys finished tied for 3rd as a team. Mason Roenz took first in the shot put, Landon Kummer and Ashten Schultz finished 4th and 6th in the hurdles, respectively and the Boys' 4x400 relay took 6th place.
For the girls, Neillsville’s Alissa Kummer tied for 8th in the high jump
