NGL's Dux and Hoffmann In State Finals/WIAA State Individual Wrestling Tournament Results - Day 2

Here are results from area wrestlers at Day 2 of the WIAA State Individual Wrestling Tournament at the Kohl Center in Madison.....

Division 2

Luke Dux of Neillsville/Greenwoodl/Loyal is in final at 120 pounds, he beat Trey Ackman of Spencer/Columbus in the semi-finals 9-6.  NGL's Derek Zschernitz, at 126 pounds won his consolation quarterfinal and wrestles again this morning, and Gunner Hoffmann of Neillsville/Greenwood/Loyal, at 285, is in the final after pinning James Schaefbauer of Nekoosa/Assumption.  

145 - Tanner Halopka of Abbotsford/Colby lost his semi-final, he wrestles again this morning

195 - Carter Grewe of Abbotsford/Colby lost in the semi-finals he will wrestle again this morning

Division3 

113 - Colton Weiler of Auburndale won his consolation quarterfinal and will wrestle again this morning

120 - Alexander (Sasha) Nitz of Stanley-Boyd won his consolation quarterfinal and he will wrestle again on this morning

126 - Brayden Sonnentag of Cadott won his semi-final match and is in the final tonight

138 - Kaleb Sonnentag of Cadott won his consolation quarterfinal and he wrestles again this morning.   Gavin Drexler of Stratford won his semi-final match and is in the final tonight

152 - Tristan Drier of Cadott won his consolation quarterfinal and he will wrestle again this morning.  Elijah Lucio of Stratford lost his semi-final and will wrestle again this morning

182 - Jackson Ormond of Stratford lost his semi-final and will wrestle again this morning.  Dawson Webster of Cadott won his consolation quarterfinal and wrestles again this morning 

195 - Raife Smart won his semi-final and is in the final tonight 

220 - Gavin Tegels of Cadott won his semi-final and is in the final tonight and Cole Marten of Stratford won his consolation quarterfinal and wrestles again this morning.

Division 1

106 - Landyn Freeman of Wis. Rapids lost his semi-final and wrestles again this morning

113 - Preston Spray of Wis. Rapids won his semi-final and is in the final tonight

138 - Hoyt Blaskowski of Marshfield lost his semi-final and will wrestle again this moring

145 - Brett Back of Wis. Rapids lost his semi-final and will wrestle again this morning

160 - Ryan Dolezal of Marshfield lost his semi-final and will wrestle again this morning 

170 - Camren Dennee of Marshfield lost his semi-final and will wrestle again this morning

285 - Jaren Rohde of Stevens Point lost his semi-final and will wrestle again this morning
